About This Class
In this hands-on cooking class, teens aged 12-15 will dive into the flavors of Southeast Asia by making a rich and aromatic chicken satay curry from scratch. They’ll learn how to blend spices, create a creamy peanut sauce, and cook tender, flavorful chicken to perfection. To complement their curry, students will also prepare a refreshing cucumber and tomato Asian salad, balancing sweet, tangy, and crunchy elements for the perfect side dish. With expert guidance, they’ll explore essential knife skills, heat control, and layering flavors to build a well-rounded dish. By the end of the session, teens will have the confidence to recreate this flavorful meal at home, impressing family and friends with their newfound culinary skills!
