About This Class

There’s nothing quite like the joy of cooking a delicious meal for friends and family and sharing it together. After this half-day cookery class, you’ll be able to do just that—with ease. Tapas are at the heart of Spanish cuisine, offering a variety of small, flavour-packed dishes perfect for entertaining. In this engaging and practical class, you’ll learn how to prepare and cook a selection of classic Spanish tapas, using traditional ingredients and techniques. If you’re yet to experience true Spanish cuisine, you’re in for a real treat! By the end of the session, you’ll have the confidence to transport yourself to Spain by recreating these vibrant, authentic dishes in your own kitchen. Dietary Info: Unfortunately, this class cannot be adapted to meet vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free requirements. What You Will Be Making: • Albondigas – Smoky beef and pork meatballs • Spanish potato tortilla – A rich and hearty classic • Romesco sauce – A bold and flavourful Spanish sauce • Gambas Pil Pil – Garlic and chilli prawns, packed with flavour Skills: • Forward planning for stress-free entertaining • Understanding key Spanish ingredients and how to use them • Knife skills for efficient preparation • Pan-frying techniques for perfectly cooked tapas • Presentation skills to plate your dishes beautifully What You Will Take Home: Everything you prepare will either be eaten during the class or taken home. We are actively trying to cut back on single-use containers, so please bring your own for any leftovers. What You’ll Get for Lunch: You’ll sit down and enjoy your freshly made tapas, just as they were meant to be eaten—shared and savoured with friends new and old.
