In this tasty class, you’ll explore the essential techniques and ingredients that bring the authentic taste of Latin America to life. Our expert chefs will guide you through the process of making your own chipotle-braised chicken, handmade tortillas, and a selection of fresh and zesty salsas. By the end of the class, you’ll have the confidence to recreate these showstopping dishes at home and impress friends and family with your new skills. What You Will Be Making: • Smoky and spicy chipotle chicken • Toasted corn salsa • Fresh tomato salsa • Smashed guacamole • Corn and wheat tortillas Skills: • Understanding Mexican flavours, including fresh and dried herbs and spices • Knife skills for preparing salsas and garnishes • Braising meat for maximum flavour and tenderness • Making and cooking handmade corn tortillas from scratch What You Will Take Home: Any additional portions of food prepared during the class. We are actively trying to cut back on single-use containers, so please bring your own for any leftovers.
