You’ll start with Katsu Curry, featuring crispy breaded chicken (or tofu) coated in golden panko crumbs and served with a rich, umami-packed curry sauce. Next, you’ll master the art of Pickled Vegetables, learning how to create crisp, tangy sides that add brightness and contrast to any meal. To finish, you’ll prepare Goma-Ae, a simple yet flavourful dish of tender vegetables coated in a nutty sesame sauce—a perfect example of Japan’s focus on letting ingredients shine. Whether you’re new to Japanese cooking or looking to expand your skills, this class will give you the confidence to recreate these comforting dishes at home. Please bring your own containers for any leftovers to help us reduce single use plastic.
