Join us at Devon Cookery School for an immersive and educational seafood class that focuses on getting the most out of three different delicious fish fillets. Given the expense of quality fish, our goal is to equip you with the skills and knowledge to achieve the best possible results in your home kitchen. Our expert chef will demonstrate the art of filleting both a round fish (Sea Bass) and a flat fish (Plaice), sharing invaluable tips on selecting the freshest fish and preparing it for cooking. You will then have the opportunity to prepare and cook your own fillets, each paired with a complementary sauce to elevate your mid-week meals. Here's what you will learn: • Steamed Sea Bass with Asian Dressing: Discover the secrets to a healthy, melt-in-the-mouth steamed fillet with a flavourful Asian twist. • Pan-Fried Sea Bass with Pernod Butter Sauce: Master the technique of achieving a perfectly crispy exterior while keeping the interior tender and succulent, complemented by a luxurious Pernod butter sauce. • Golden and Crunchy Plaice Goujons: Watch and taste as our chef demos the process of creating crunchy, succulent plaice goujons, perfect for a delightful appetizer or snack. By the end of the class, you'll have the confidence and skills to handle fish like a pro and create impressive, delicious dishes that will wow your family and friends.
